About ZoneMeets

ZoneMeets is an independent time zone converter and global scheduling tool built for distributed teams, freelancers, and anyone who coordinates across different parts of the world. We built it because scheduling across time zones is not actually hard math — it is invisible math. You cannot see that 2 PM in Singapore is 2 AM in São Paulo until someone misses the call. ZoneMeets makes that conversion visual, instant, and mistake-proof.

With ZoneMeets, you pin multiple cities side by side and see the live local time in each one at a glance. The interactive time slider lets you scrub forward or backward to find the overlap window that works for your whole team, colour-coded by business hours. You can set a meeting title, choose a date and time, and add the event directly to Google Calendar — all without leaving the page and without creating an account.

ZoneMeets is built for globally distributed teams, remote workers, international clients, and anyone who values their time. Whether you are coordinating a weekly standup across three continents or scheduling a one-off call with a client in a different hemisphere, ZoneMeets makes it fast and painless — and always accurate, even when daylight saving shifts the clocks.

Why we built ZoneMeets

The idea came from the same frustration every distributed team knows: a recurring meeting that quietly drifts by an hour when daylight saving changes, a colleague who dials in at 11 PM because nobody checked their local time, and the endless "wait, is that your 9 AM or mine?" messages. Existing converters showed times but not overlap; calendar apps showed events but not the bigger picture of who was awake. We wanted a single tool that answers the only question that matters: when can everyone actually meet?

Our methodology & accuracy

Accuracy is the entire point of a time tool, so we take it seriously. ZoneMeets uses the IANA Time Zone Database — the same authoritative, continuously maintained source used by every major operating system, calendar application, and programming language. This means every clock you see reflects the correct local time, including automatic adjustments for daylight saving transitions and non-whole-hour offsets like those in India (UTC+5:30), Iran (UTC+3:30), and Nepal (UTC+5:45). When a region springs forward or falls back, ZoneMeets reflects the change immediately.

IANA Database

The global standard for time zone data, updated regularly.

No tracking

Your pinned cities stay in your browser. We do not sell your data.

Original content

Every guide is written from research and real scheduling experience.

Who maintains ZoneMeets

ZoneMeets is maintained by a small, independent team that has spent years working across distributed and international settings — coordinating product releases, support rotations, and team meetings across continents. The tool and its guides are written and reviewed by people who use it daily, not generated or copied. When the IANA database is updated, we adopt the changes so the times you see stay correct. If you spot an error or have a question about how something is calculated, we want to hear about it — please reach out through the Contact page.

Our editorial commitment

The guides in Tips & Guides are written to be genuinely useful, not to fill space. We cover real scenarios — the three-continent problem, daylight saving drift, fair rotation of inconvenient slots — and we update them when the underlying rules change. We do not publish AI-generated filler, and we do not recycle content from other sites. The goal is that after reading any one of our guides you are measurably better at scheduling across time zones than before you arrived.
