ZoneMeets is designed to be lightweight and privacy-respecting. When you use the app without an account, we collect no personal information. Timezone selections are stored locally in your browser using localStorage and never transmitted to our servers.

If you choose to create an account or contact us via the contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

We may collect anonymised, aggregated usage data (such as which timezones are most frequently added) to improve the service. This data cannot be used to identify you.

We use contact form submissions only to reply to your message. We do not subscribe you to marketing emails, share your details with third parties for marketing purposes, or sell your data under any circumstances.

Anonymised usage analytics help us understand which features are most useful and how to improve ZoneMeets. No personal data is involved in this analysis.

ZoneMeets uses browser localStorage to remember your pinned timezones between sessions. This data is stored entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Beyond the advertising cookies described in the Google AdSense section below, we do not use our own tracking cookies. If we add analytics tools in the future, they will be configured to anonymise all data before collection.

ZoneMeets is a free tool, and we display advertising served by Google AdSense to cover the costs of running the site. AdSense is Google's advertising platform, and it may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to ZoneMeets and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

ZoneMeets integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to allow you to add meetings directly to your calendar. When you click 'Add to Google Calendar' or 'Add to Outlook', you are redirected to those services' own interfaces. Your calendar data is governed by Google's and Microsoft's respective privacy policies.

We do not receive, store, or process any data from your calendar accounts. The integration works entirely through publicly documented URL parameters and never requires you to grant ZoneMeets access to your calendar.

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months in order to handle any follow-up questions. After that period, they are permanently deleted.

If you have created an account and wish to request deletion of all associated data, you can do so via the Contact page. We will process deletion requests within 30 days and send a confirmation email when complete.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR if you are in the European Economic Area, and CCPA if you are in California). These rights may include the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you.
